This notice covers the eBay connector in MRKSENS Command Center versions 6.2, 6.3 and 6.4, a private dashboard used by MRKSENS to review its own seller account. It describes this connector's handling of eBay information. The MRKSENS online store has a separate store privacy policy.
Information accessed and its purpose
With the account owner's authorization through eBay, Command Center accesses seller-account information needed for business reports, including the seller identifier, orders, sales, shipping amounts, taxes, refunds, selling fees, inventory, listings and promotion information. eBay API responses may also contain buyer or order details. The connector processes responses to calculate and display reports on the owner's local dashboard. It does not change listings, orders or financial records.
Storage and access
Seller authorization tokens, seller details, API responses and reports are kept in process memory while Command Center runs. The application does not write seller or buyer account data, seller authorization tokens or reports to connection files, databases, report exports or audit logs. Stopping the Command Center server ends that in-memory seller connection; the owner must reconnect eBay after restarting it. Information already displayed in an open browser tab may remain visible until that page is closed or refreshed.
Versions 6.2 and 6.3 also keep developer application credentials in memory only. Version 6.4 can remember the developer-supplied App ID, Cert ID (client secret) and OAuth redirect name (RuName) as encrypted application settings on the owner's computer. These saved settings do not contain seller authorization tokens, seller or buyer identifiers, order information or API reports. The saved Cert ID is not returned to the browser; the dashboard displays only whether a secret is saved. This avoids requiring the owner to re-enter application keys after every restart while seller authorization remains temporary.
The dashboard runs on the owner's computer and requires its dashboard password. Command Center uses eBay authorization tokens and does not receive the owner's eBay password. Local security logs may record application events and technical request information, but not eBay API content, seller identifiers or eBay credentials.
Sharing and control
The eBay connector does not sell eBay data or transmit it to advertising networks, external analytics providers or AI services. It communicates with eBay to authenticate the authorized connection and retrieve account information for the local dashboard.
The owner can disconnect the seller account in Command Center's settings, stop the local server, and close the dashboard to end use of the connection and displayed reports. In version 6.4, disconnecting the seller account preserves the encrypted developer app settings for reconnecting; the separate Forget Saved App Keys control removes those settings and disconnects the seller account. Application permission can also be revoked in the owner's eBay account settings.
